Kairos is a church built on the presence of God, the authority of Scripture and the conviction that ordinary people can carry extraordinary change.

A city awakened to the presence of God.
Kairos exists for people to encounter Christ, experience transformation and change the world around them.
We are not building a crowd. We are building people who know who they are, who they belong to and what they carry — people whose homes, workplaces and neighborhoods look different because they walked with Jesus.

Why "Kairos"
The appointed time.
In the language of the New Testament there are two words for time. One is chronos — the clock, the calendar, the ordinary passing of days. The other is kairos — the appointed moment. The opportunity that arrives and asks for a response.
Scripture is full of kairos moments: a burning bush, a boy with five loaves, a woman at a well, a thief on a cross. Ordinary days that turned when someone said yes.
We believe encounters with Jesus still create those moments — and that yours may be closer than you think.
Our leaders
Sheldon & Lyndsie Harris.
Pastor Sheldon and Lyndsie Harris have spent years serving people and ministry with a desire to see individuals discover their God-given purpose and cities transformed through the presence of God.
Sheldon's journey into ministry began with a personal encounter that reordered his life. Years of local church service, leadership development and pastoral care followed — always with the same thread: build the person, and the calling follows.
Lyndsie carries a deep heart for women, families and the culture of the house. Together they lead Kairos with honesty, warmth and a conviction that no one should have to figure out faith alone.
They live in Tampa and are raising their family in the city they believe God sent them to serve.
